Eagle Grips has been kind enough to allow me to design what I consider to be the perfect grip for single action revolvers.

Traditional designs flair the grip from top to bottom creating a situation which encourages the hand to slip up under recoil.  This design also is very hard for the fingers to grip with equal pressure because of the flair.  The round shape of the profile allows the gun to point left of right of the aiming point without a good feel for center.  The new Evil Roy grip has no flair from top to bottom allowing for a great grip with all the fingers of the shooting hand. The constant width reduces the potential for the gun to slip up under recoil. 

The flat sides make it much easier to center the gun in ones hand for a natural "point".  The sides of the grip are checkered to reduce slipping.  

After many years shooting single actions I have finally gotten what I consider to be the best grip possible whether for competition or field type shooting.

The Evil Roy grip is available currently for Ruger Vaquero, Single Six, and Blackhawk revolvers. In a few months we will be introducing the Evil Roy grip for Colts, Cimmaron Arms, and U.S. Firearm SAA's.
