Mother of Pearl being a product of Nature can be very strong and durable but can also be very fragile. There are firearms over one hundred years old with there original Mother of Pearl grips intact and well used. This is the exception not the rule. These grips are best used for display, overtightening of grip screws can damage or crack the grip, snug is best.

Yes, we do make grips for these revolvers. However we need the firearm to do this work. These revolvers either original or replica are not regulated by the ATF . Some States and local Governments do have restrictions on these.

Our 1911 grips are made to Colt 1911 frame specs. As some 1911 style firearms are not made to the same specs, grips will not interchange. It is best to always check with the maker of your pistol before ordering grips or for that matter parts.
