Dear Harbans:
Having just completed the manuscript
for my new Random House book, STEEL CANVAS: The Art of American
Arms, I wanted to write to let you know how important your
outstanding grips are to the creation of beautiful handguns
in the contemporary period.
Whether for my own engraving craftsmen,
in American Master Engravers, Inc., or the fine work of other
artisans, your grips have set a high standard. Only you could
have come up with workable mother-of-pearl, which we used
on the highly demanding U.S. Historical Society "American
Eagle" Colt 1860 Army, created by Tiffany & Co. And
only you can come through when we need exotic woods, ivory,
or other materials.
Despite what some might think, the
best of the gun engravers of today are equal to or superior
to the best of the past 500 years.
Eagle Grips helps to make possible
this high level of artistry.
Congratulations, and many thanks.
You, Raj, and your family and associates have contributed
significantly to the high standards of today's custom gun
industry.
With best regards,
Sincerely,
RL Wilson
