Got these for the single seven .327 birdshead model
The grips work well. There is no slippage and the checkering is aggressive. I would guess that no slippage would occur even if you used these in pouring rain or if your hand were bloody -- and any such slippage would be far less than with the original smooth grips.
These are certainly a niche item, for someone who specifically needs them for a set purpose. Mine is simple. This is my always-works gun. Few moving parts, no automatic anything, and I put serious money into the holster, belt, and grips because I intend for it to work no matter what. If that's what you need, these are your grips.
Birdshead Gunfighter Polymer Grips
I have ordered a couple pairs of these grips. Standard Birdshead Grips are just to fat for my hands. The Gunfighter feels much better to me. If I needed more I would order these again.
