CLASSIC grips were designed by Walter Roper during the 1960s, these grips feature a thinner midsection and a raised right side palm swell. The "Classic" is a return to a design that was proven decades ago when big wheel guns were carried and used daily by such legendary handgunners as Walter Roper, Skeeter Skelton and Elmer Keith.

Stunning Grip !
When I first unboxed my grip for my blued GP100, it appeared to be one piece. The grain is continuous from the right to left panel. It mounted to the grip frame with no adjustments necessary. My GP100 came with the Hogue rubber grip originally, The bushing that went through the lower grip frame to retain the saddle to which the Hogue was screwed into did not protrude enough to engage my new Eagle grip, which allowed movement up and down of the new grip. I found that removing about 0.090 " from a 10mm cartridge case, and giving it one wrap of electrical tape, fit beautifully into the machined indents in each grip and retained them in perfect position with zero movement or adjustment necessary. These grips are truly beautiful and I can tell that a lot of care went into producing them. Truly worth the wait. One thing I might suggest is including a grip frame bushing to retain the grip firmly be included with them.

These grips are everything Eagle Grips profess them to be: Outstanding fit and finish, beautiful grain, flawless checkering. Had to wait 7 weeks for delivery, but I was pleased when they arrived. No problem attaching them to my GP-100. They feel as good as they look.

I have a Ruger GP100. I love this gun, and with that being said, the Hogue Grips that come on the gun are just plain ugly.
These Classically styled Eagle Grips are exactly what I've been looking for. The Quality of Eagle Grips is most impressive to say the least.
I have Eagle Grips on one of my Colt Pythons, and the Beauty and Quality of those Grips were my inspiration to purchase these Grips for my Ruger GP100. Thanks Eagle Grips for giving the consumer a great American made product.

Nice addition to Ruger GP 100
The GP 100 came with the most ridiculous grips. Rubber with a wood panel insert. These Eagle Grips were perfect replacements. Attractive and functional as well as a good fit.

GP 100 grip review, great grips!
Besides being very comfortable in the hand and a great fit to the gun they're also very beautiful and well made. They give my gun a very classy old school look while providing great functionality. I'm very pleased with these grips and would definitely recommend them to anybody who might be looking for a quality set of wooden grips for their Ruger GP100.
