I have the red kirinite on a black p238. Very nice looking beautiful red. Lots of quality put into it. Not my carry grips but a good backup show gun look. I also have the Blue Teal Kirinite for my P938 very nice as well. You need to see them in person and different lighting to appreciate the appearance and design.
This is my second pair, first pair won me a SASS World Championship in Early March 2023. Second pair will go hand in hand and attempt to win a SASS National Championship at Land Run 2023. Excellent product, Excellent folks, Rog and Paul are mighty fine people. If you think a great pair of grips will NOT make a difference, well...Your behind the mental and physical part of competition. Outstanding grips make a difference. Oklahoma Dee
The factory supplied grips on my new Python are comfortable, but a little large for my liking. Bough a set of the old style from Colt, they were nice but very lightweight and I was afraid they would break easily. Also the checkering was so sharp it was uncomfortable to hold, and shoot it. Found this company and ordered the same type grips and they were perfect for me in solid construction and checkering feel.
Emerald Bay was my second choice. Venom Pearl was the color I fell in love with. There wasn't an option or name to order it, so I reached out and described it and where I saw it on the website. They found it. Amazing! There were a few requests I had and they weren't sure if they were possible. They responded very fast. Unfortunately my requests weren't viable. I'm glad they weren't, it would have taken away from the beautiful work they did! After months of carrying the pistol in my pocket, the grips still look as beautiful as the day I received them. A MONTH EARLY! If I could only post pictures of it.
These grips are absolutely beautiful and very well crafted. Fit and finish are excellent giving my new Colt the exact look I wanted. Although the website said it may take a few weeks to ship, I received my order crazy fast!! Couldn’t be more satisfied. Thank you!
Bought these Rosewood checkered finger grips to replace the original too-small original walnut grips on my M58 41 Mag. The original grips tore a chunk of skin off the web of my thumb, these Eagle grips are great even with hot reloads. I still feel recoil more than I would with rubber grips but these grips look great and I can control the revolver.
I replaced the too-small original wood grips on my M27 Classic 4" with these Eagle Grips. They look great and both times I went to the range they felt great even with fairly hot 357 loads. Glad I made the upgrade.
Perfect fit the gun and my hands, thank you. I recently got a Ruger .357 Mag New Model Blackhawk. The gun came with, as per Ruger’s specifications, hardened rubber grips. They are more like cheap hard plastic grips with sharp edges. My hands are small, yet the grips are so thin that I couldn’t hold the gun properly, and the grips hurt my hand every time I shot. I decided to get wooden grips and tried a few; some didn’t fit, and others were as thin as the Ruger grips. I found Eagle Grips through a web search and watched videos that explain the differences between Eagle Grips and others. I called them to get information on the thickness of Gunfghter and Gunfighter II grips; they were very helpful and answered all my questions. Even though Eagle Grips are quite expensive, I decided to give Gunfighter II grips a try. The grips fit the gun perfectly, and they fill my hand. I can grip the gun firmly, and shooting the gun is now a pleasure rather than torture. The finish of the select rosewood is excellent, and the grips improved the look of the gun immensely. Very high-quality grips are worth the price.
I ordered this grip in Red Pearl for my LadySmith J Frame. It arrived as promised and makes my round butt revolver look beautiful. It is smooth, comfortable and grips without slipping. The workmanship is flawless!
Overall I’m extremely pleased with these grips. Very Nicely finished (just a hairs worth of overlap on the front seam, only negative, not noticable). They’re look amazing, beautiful wood, nicely contoured with nice sharp checkering. Completely changed the feel of the gun and is the N Frame grip I’ve been searching for. Highly recommended. Thank you Eagle Grips!
Ordered these grips for my model 10 smith and wesson revolver. Great product and customer service was amazing, if youve ever had any problems with them id bet money it was probably your fault. Ordered my grips and talked with them a little over the phone, called them back the next day to request custom work and they didnt upcharge me like crazy. The person I spoke to on the phone seemed genuine and actually proud of the product he sells, rare to come across that now it seems. Worth every penny, cant change my mind.
These look even better on my new Kimber than in the picture on the website. They arrived in the mail far quicker than I was expecting. Their customer service is spectacular as well. I will definitely buy from this company again!
Recently purchased a set of elk antler grips for my S&W J-Frame Back-up revolver. Skeptical that the grip to frame fit would be as good as the factory grips. Could not have asked for a better fit! The bark texture feels good, and the overall product is the best I have ever seen. Would definitely recommend to friends and will purchase again. Customer Service and product all top of the line professional.
THE FIRST THREE SETS FOR GP 1OO REQUIRED SOME FITTING EASY ENOUGH THE SET OF FBI GRIPS FOR MY J FRAME WENT ON AS IS. ALL OF THE GRIPS FEEL AN LOOK GREAT. I WILL BE BACK FORE MORE. SINCERELY RICH WHITE.
Good full-length grip screws, nice finish. The slot head is useful and nice looking. Hex and Allen head are nice but not always around. There is always a screwdriver in a pinch. Really like the brushed finish.
These grips are amazing. With the standard Grips on my Ruger guns I would miss pulling back my hammer often. I get such a better grip on my guns now that I have yet to miss once with my hammer since I have installed them. The customer service was top notch and my order was shipped out almost immediately due to Having multiple competitions coming up soon. Very pleased with my order and would definitely order another set from this company. Thank you for the fast service and the excellent product!!
Fit is perfect on Colt O series frame. Gold Bark on set I received is mostly on lower 3rd, pattern is a good match with Select grade. These beautiful grips were on my Colt 2 weeks after order was placed. The Medallions are Colt early 1970's, with Stallion standing on left of globe and head under the C. Grip panels have faint lavender streaks and spots that look very good on Royal Blue frame and slide. Grips are sealed and Pith is minimal on backside. Eagle is stamped on them but no date. I dated mine for the next owner of my Colt SCB. Expensive grip panels made from thick Elk stag which is not what you get with other brands that cost less. Everything about these grips from the choice and cut of stag to semi gloss finish on smooth parts is AS GOOD AS IT GETS.
When I first unboxed my grip for my blued GP100, it appeared to be one piece. The grain is continuous from the right to left panel. It mounted to the grip frame with no adjustments necessary. My GP100 came with the Hogue rubber grip originally, The bushing that went through the lower grip frame to retain the saddle to which the Hogue was screwed into did not protrude enough to engage my new Eagle grip, which allowed movement up and down of the new grip. I found that removing about 0.090 " from a 10mm cartridge case, and giving it one wrap of electrical tape, fit beautifully into the machined indents in each grip and retained them in perfect position with zero movement or adjustment necessary. These grips are truly beautiful and I can tell that a lot of care went into producing them. Truly worth the wait. One thing I might suggest is including a grip frame bushing to retain the grip firmly be included with them.
After swapping several other's grip onto the PPK/S only to be disappointed with the fit, feel and very limited looks of those very few options, I stumbled on Eagle Grips and their variety of options. I decided why not. I am TRULY impressed as the PPK/s now fits the hand (a person with very long fingers needs a grip that takes more room within grip range to place the correct point of finger on the trigger). Very functional as well as absolutely beautiful. Better trigger control and feel, less chance of the infamous slide bite and as an open carry - a very attractive sidearm. THANKS GUYS! You hit the marks on this one!
These grips are a great fit. I mean really good fit. Wasn't expecting it perfect but really was. I received them earlier than there lead time. So I would strongly recommend if it's what your in the market for. I'll be back for sure
I have a matched set of Ruger Vaquero in Colt .45. I ordered two sets of these grips and it really put my pistols over the top. The quality is top of the line, they fit perfectly and feel great in the hand. Highly recommend. I know they're a touch on the expensive side but they're worth every penny!
I came across these grips as I was looking for a nice blue pearl finish that wouldn't break my pockets and I must say it was unequivocally worth the wait! They absolutely shine on my black 1911 and with the reactive checkering, I still get the tactile feel that I'm used to. My wife is already asking when can she get hers!
Couldn't be happier! The grips arrived in good time and fit true. Comfortable length of pull for me and my wife. I wish there was a way to attach a photo here because they look amazing. Homerun again, Eagle Grips! Thank you.
It is very difficult to find grips for a 1964 Colt Cobra. Fortunately, Eagle Grips makes them and they are of high quality. This is the second set of grips I've ordered from Eagle Grips and I'm very happy with both.
I added these grips to a blued/case hardened 5.5” Ruger Old Vaquero. The fit was VERY tight, and I actually had to just touch the front edge of each grip panel to make them fit. Once installed, the grips made a world of difference in the way my old single action looks. The only thing better is the way it feels. The gunfighter styled grips feel more natural for me when pointing my Ruger as well as under recoil. I’ve owned this revolver for approximately 26 years, but with these grips it’s like our second honeymoon.
These grips are exceptional. They fit well and feel great. I got them checkered due to the humidity of South Georgia. The checkering is not too sharp, nor is it too dull. It feels solid and looks great in the hand. I was becoming worried when it took almost 3 months to get these grips. That being said, anything that's custom these days takes a little longer. I would definitely recommend this product and company to anyone who is in the market for that ivory grip look. I will definitely be buying from Eagle Grips again.
Stocks perfectly match my original 1960s S&W ones. 4 stars due small chip in one, easy to look passed. Otherwise well-made product, obvious that they were proudly made with care. Although not a problem for me, expect the 6-7 week wait.
I first discovered Eagle Secret Service Grips from a friend at my USPSA club. I ordered a set for my 340 immediately. Since I have converted all my S&W to these grips. The Kirinite Ivory are the perfect for stainless guns. The color and patterns look classic and they are very functional. Every time a set arrives I place my next order!
These stylish grips have helped me tremendously in mounted shooting. The factory grips were allowing guns to slide around. The checkered gunfighter grips eliminated the issues and my shooting has become better from first time using them. Highly recommend this grip for your revolvers. And they look amazing in person!
I bought these for the Wife’s stainless 92 FS because these grips are drop dead gorgeous, and they really dress up the look of her pistol. The thumb rest and trigger finger grove help weld the gun to her hand, and most importantly they reduce the bulk of the grip, which helps shooters with smaller hands handle the thicker double stack frame. The grips are ambidextrous, so lefties take note. The checkering provides a positive grip without being obnoxiously sharp. These grips are made from the harder Indian Rosewood, so the colors run more towards dark chocolate than the reddish tones commonly found in Honduran or Guatemalan Rosewood. The upper grip screw on the right side of the frame is right in the middle of the trigger finger grove and the original slotted screw stood annoyingly proud of the wood. So, I replaced the screws with a Beretta Stainless Allen-Hex Grip Screw Kit with rubber washers. Now the screws fit flush, and I am no longer bothered by the untidy look of random screw slot orientations. We performed a side-by-side comparison test between a new Beretta 92 FS INOX with factory grips versus the Wife’s 1987 model with the new Eagle grips. Our range partners and fellow NRA pistol instructors with M9/92 experience all had stupid grins on their faces when they tried out the new grips. “Oh, that’s nice!” and “Where can I get a set of these?” were common comments.
As always, Eagle Grips do not fail to impress. Expertly crafted and fit as they should. Thanks. My only gripe is the time in shipping. 10 days thru USPS is a bit much. The company may want to view alternatives if this was not an isolated incident.
I ordered a pair for my Taurus 605. The first set I received was honestly poor quality. Poor finish, cut/ shaped incorrectly, just terrible. I contacted customer support and was getting hung up on each time I was speaking to a representative. I honestly thought they were hanging up on me. However, I then received a call directly from Raj S (company CEO) private cell b number telling me they were having problems with their phone service. I explained my product issues and he apologized saying they had a new guy who had let the defected grip slip through and would send me a new set immediately. I received the new set in about 10 days that were beautifully made and fit perfect. Normally I'd be upset that a company would let the initial grips I got slip thru but the service I received from Raj to correct the issues was phenomenal and it demonstrated this company strives to only satisfy their customers. Mistakes happen but this is a company I would trust again and highly recommend to anyone wanting high quality grips made.
The original Hogue grips on my Redhawk 45 Colt, 4” barrel, were too big for my hands. These Eagle grips look great, and feel great even with +P loads. They are slightly narrower at the top and swell out slightly at the bottom. The texture of the checkering gives just the right amount of grip. They were easy to install after I bought the grip panel locator from MidwayUSA. With the original Hogue grips, the Redhawk did not come with the panel locator.
I put these grips into service right away on a pair of Rugers I use for SASS shooting. I wanted smooth, slim grips with a low profile. These were exactly what I wanted and gorgeous, to boot! They look very nice on my pistols and feel even better in my hands. Thanks, Eagle!
I was in awe of how perfectly these grips fit. I went through 4 other grips with other companies and the fit of these is flawless; way beyond anything else I tried. Puts the gun into another category of excellence. The finish of the wood is absolutely beautiful and very comfortable in hand. Eagle grips really are best of the best!
These grips are top of the line. Perfect fit to every line of the gun and they keep the revolver firm to the hand. Very comfortable, excellent finish. Best grips I’ve ever had. Improve the look of the firearm 10 fold. Eagle grips are the best!
Tommy Thompkins 10/07/2021 07:11:41 I ordered 2 sets of these grips to replace old grips that had turned yellow and 1 set that even warped. These are beautiful replacements and fit perfect. Made my 64 year old Baby Browning look new again! Being picky on which other Baby Browning in my collection deserves the last set.
I ordered these for a memorial for a 6 month old that passed away. Her mother was getting a 1911 and the father wanted to get her custom grips. I ordered this and was a mistake as the grips were too small. I needed the full size grips. Both grips are amazingly built and beautiful. But the thing that stood out was the service. I called and they quickly remedied the problem. Will not be an issue being a return customer. Thank you for your help.
These replace the rubber grip with no issues at all. They instantly change the look from a Yugo to a Cadillac. There is no gap at the back of the frame. Don't believe any trolls these are high quality. Personally I think my LCR shoots better than the with the rubber grips. Just keep in mind your wait will be more like 12 weeks than 2-6 weeks. Should you wait? ABSOLUTLEY ...YES!
Ordered the secret service rosewood for my sw60 nodash..they arrived and fit really nice. Fit and finish was nice and smooth I like em. They remind me of old solid wood furniture..quality I'd reccomend eagle above others..
I am very pleased with the grips I received. My Woodsman has been in my family for 5 generations. It is a favorite of my children and gets regular use. The beautiful Eagle grips allow me to preserve the originals while making the pistol look even more handsome at the same time.
I really liked these grips and they are on one of my monthly competition guns for Cowboy Action Shooting. I did have to work on them to get the fit, but there are several warnings that this is the case. If you aren't comfortable with that, there are other options available. Great price for a great product, I would, and probably will, but again.
Bought two sets of these grips for two old revolvers, one a "Bridgeport" and the other a "Stratford." Both fit well. Grips are more comfortable than the factory ones and are more conducive to double action shooting. It also places the hand on the gun in a better position to control recoil more comfortably. The only downside is, like the original grips, these do not work well with speedloaders being slightly too thick for clearance due to this revolver's short cylinder crane. Otherwise, a fine update for two old revolvers.
I ordered a set of kirinite grips for my Smith and Wesson model 724. Fit was excellent. They have the look and feel of real ivory. They were well worth the cost and the wait. I will certainly order more. I wish Eagle made a set of service style python grips from kirinite, I would love to put them on my 3” Python.
I replaced my Pachmayr grips that had been on my Redhawk for 35 years. Wow, what a difference in comfort and looks. Very easy to install and perfect fit. They're so comfortable that actually it feels like they reduced recoil. Yes, they're pricey, but you won't regret it.
Very high quality product, made with great care starting from quality raw materials. Absolutely the best suit for my 1968 Python. I recommend them to all shooters and collectors looking for the best for their firearm. The company's support service is excellent and has allowed me to purchase this product even from overseas.
The fit of these grips is really very good and the grain in rosewood is very attractive. This is my second J frame grip order (first was the J frame Secret Service grip)and I have been very satisfied with both.
First set didn't fit the frame as well as I thought it should, pattern and color didn't match on the two grip halves. Eagle grips was good about sending out a new set that look and feel great and fit the frame. Would recommend.
I received exactly what I expected and was pleased with the product. I would have preferred if the spacer (one piece grips) were made of the same material vs. wood but it worked out well. Also, I do feel that the price is a bit steep for synthetics that I fit myself. Overall, certainly satisfied.
my Vaquero came with the usual black plastic grips, they were Ok but I wanted a more traditional look, I chose the Eagle rosewood grips and glad I did, perfect fit, comfortable and I love the old west look, just like the picture, thank you Egle Grips.
This grip make the Ruger Bisley Blackhawk .44 special perfect for my hand. I am able to grip and control the trigger pull perfectly. The appearance of the grips is very nice. The colors are rich and pleasing. The perfect gripping surface for my Ruger.
These grips are built to last. What you pay for these is worth every cent. The craftsmanship is superb. I would buy these again in a second. Fits my N frame perfectly. There are other grips out there for half the price or have no wait time but you can easily tell the difference. My Eagle grips outshine the others by far. Buy these grips!
I have a bin full of holsters and a box full of grips. They all usually get swapped back and forth because every one has an advantage, but none is “perfect”.These grips ARE perfect. These are my third pair of grips for my K-frame Model 17. This pair fit my hand and fits the gun. These are staying on the gun and the other two pair will rotate to the bottom of the box.Bonus: Fit, finish, and build quality are superb. About the level one would expect from a master gunsmith 100 years ago.I am going to buy more Eagle grips…
These grips are beautiful. The first set that was sent to me had screw holes that were milled too small for the proper grip screw. Eagle grips made it right by sending me a return label and remilling the grip screw holes to the proper size. Now they fit perfectly and look perfect as well. Would definitely buy again.
I initially bought these grips thinking I could do the shaping and installation myself. When I saw the quality of the grips I realized I could never do them justice. I sent them back to Eagle Grips for custom installation. Smooth, perfect, and remarkably beautiful
I have a six shot 22mag pathfinder and I decided that the standered 3 finger rubber grips should go. I also didn't want a thin bootgrip. This strikes a nice balance! Not only does it sharpen up your guns looks and make it more concealable but it also grips great! Don't worry about losing the pinky because the thumb shelf makes up for it! Only "downside" is it's a little more slippery so I gotta practice my draw some more. Highly recommend!
After having two pearl Bauer grips crack, I was told that these would fit mu handgun. They were not only a perfect fit, it's doubtful that they will crack because they are solid Kirinite, versus the Bauer grips which are two layers of materials. These are far superior.
I was skeptical, I am always hesitant when buying a new product. I got them, they installed easily and I really like them. They are extremely low profile. Their really comfortable in the hand, their also comfortable in the waste band. Next time I order grips for a firearm I will come here first.
I searched all over the internet looking for high quality grips and found nothing worthy of my grandfather's old Colt 1917. I finally stumbled upon the Eagle Grips website and man I'm glad I did. The service over the phone was excellent. I emailed them some pics of the Colt to make sure that I was getting the correct grips and they were more than helpful. The grips arrived after a short while and they are absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend Eagle Grips to anyone interested. Well done.
These grips fit my . 45lc stainless Vaquero like a glove. It looks better than ever. The checkering is nice and deep, and the hardware well recessed to give a very pleasant grip feel. They have a slimmer profile than stock, and it's an improvement, especially for some one handed cowboy stuff. All in all, I'm more than satisfied with these. They made my favorite gun even more special. 5 damn stars.
Amazing fit and finish!! Excellent quality. I received them very quick. I was expecting to be waiting a few more weeks. The Arctic blue really pops! I might have to try another set in a different color
Not only is the Browning Hi-Power a great piece of history, it's a very good looking one. Want to make it look even better? Get these grips. The finish is amazing, the fit is beyond perfect. They are thick, solid, and of superior quality compared to anything else I've ever used. 20/10, I will definitely be purchasing another set down the road. I can't say enough good things about these.
After more than a year of using these grips on my every day carry gun, they have survived two motorcycle wrecks with only minor damage. I love the ergonomic contouring and the grippy texturing. Overall I love these grips but even though I have 3 Ruger Vaqueros, I only have one set of gunfighter grips because of how expensive they are. That being said, you certainly get what you pay for. These are solid grips.
The grips were very impressive. They fit my S & W Model 36 very well and the grain in the Rosewood was extremely attractive. I am very satisfied with the quality of these J frame square butt Target grips.
Had to do a little sanding to make them meet right, and drill out the hole for the pin to fit, but that just adds character to my gun, making it unique. Gorgeous grips, personalized. My wife rolls her eyes, but I think she's thinking about getting some new grips too. Will buy from Eagle Grips again.
These are great grips, but they do not allow for the use of speed loaders. I contacted them and they responded immediately offering the opportunity to send the grips back to make an adjustment. You will be pleased at the quality of these grips, but if this is your CCW, just know HKS or Safariland speed loaders will not work with them.
I searched the net for grips and I wasn't sure as to what they would look like in person, but when they arrived it was obvious that I could have paid couple of hundred dollars more and those grips would not stand up to these!
Received my new grips this afternoon. They fit perfectly and look fantastic. It was a pleasure dealing with Nate on the phone. He took care of different delivery options based on suspected production dates. Everything worked out perfectly and I got my grips much sooner than expected. Thanks, Tim.
I am very pleased with how tgese grips turned out. I ordered the checkered finish and the grips look true to the original on my Interarms Walther PPK/S. The grips included a new screw and recessed nut. The handgun has a nice feel to it, and I can maintain a firm grip. I am considering purchasing more grips from this company for some of my Smith and Wesson revolvers. I wish that I could upload a picture!
If you’re looking for some quality wooden grips for your Charter Arms Undercover, look no further. These are great quality at a good price. These grips are shorter than the stock grips making the firearm more compact and easier for concealed carry. They are made of sturdy solid wood that fit perfectly around the frame. They are shaped nicely with an indention at the top that allows your thumb to grip the handle better. The product takes a few weeks to receive but they are worth the wait!
Besides the minor shipping issues I dealt with, which was the post offices fault not Eagle grips. They got here quick and the feel and quality of these grips are just amazing. Definitely purchasing more in the future
I have a 1962 Colt Scout with the factory grips and was looking for an upgrade. I spoke to my brother in law and he has purchased many grips from you all over the years and was not hesitant to order grips based on his great dealings with you all.
My grips arrived after 6 weeks. They were of excellent quality but did not fit the grip frame properly. The representative had me take photos and then proceeded to have his coworkers bring in their Model N revolvers to test the fit. Modifications were made and the grips were reshipped back to me. The improvement was definite, but not perfect. Small wonder since I was not allowed to ship my pistol to them for hand-fitting as I had twice before. Given the restrictions of the pandemic, I believe the customer service and overall quality of Eagle Grips are unparelled.
I purchased these for an S&W Model 629 Classic round butt that came with the rubber grips. My older Smiths have Goncalo Alves grips in the large size. They are square butt pistols. I wanted the same look and feel for this 629. After researching I discovered Eagle Grips. These Walnut Heritage Grips are perfect. They fill the hand and point well. They look fantastic. Thank you Eagle Grips. I will be purchasing grips for a Colt SAA, a Colt 1911, and a Ruger Old Vaquero next. Going to try out the stag grips on the SAA.
Pretty good quality although the front of the grip panels are slightly misaligned. Nothing serious though. I did compare these grips to pics off the internet of S&W "Coke Bottle" grips and these differ in the placement of the medallion, the size and shape of the checkered area and the overall length of the panel. To anyone 20 or so feet away it would be noticeable.
Great workmanship and nice size. The stock target halves are too big and blocky for my liking. These heritage grips preserve the classic look but improve handling and shooting considerably. repeat customer
I like the look and feel of the new grips. They seem to have improved the balance of the SA revolver, which always felt a tad heavy in the barrel. Although there were some vendors who sold less expensive grips I went with EagleGrips because I wanted to make sure I got the right ones. As things turned out, I think I made the right decision. My only quibble is that the right grip needed a little carving with a penknife, to align the hole with the peg. It only took a few scrapes. If this happens to you, go slow and keep rechecking. The whole process took about thity seconds. The grips are about as substantial as they could be, quality hardwood. I wish I was more articulate in praising them.
My customer wanted a set of grips so we chose a set of Eagle 1 piece. They came well packaged and protected. The filler was different than the outer panels but you won’t see it when finished. There was plenty of wood to work with. They should fit pretty much every frame out there for the standard model which is what we had. I called to ask about the finish and my call was promptly answered. This is so far Eagles only product that I have used but wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. I would definitely recommend this product. Dean, IVG
