I wasn't sure if any other grip would do justice to my mint Reg. Magnum if I decided to change the original Coke Bottle Magna grip. The Heritage Grip from Eagle guys solved all that for me in a jiffy. Fits like a glove and maintains the period look as well. Wonderful workmanship. Keep it up Eagle.
I was very pleased with prior sale communication since I had a newer model Les Baer and wanted to make sure of specs before ordering. When I received and installed the grips the fit was perfect and they look really cool .
I received these grips from my husband for Chiristmas. They are beautiful to look at and to hold. They totally changed the look and feel of my gun. I love them and so does my husband! Very comfortable in your hand and really makes the gun look classy! My husband said the company is wonderful to work with as well. I Very highly recommend these. You will not be disappointed.
Restoring a S&W Model with a new deep blue finish and added these grips for a classic 1950-1960s revolver. Always admired the S&W revolvers owned written about by Skeeter Skelton. These feel great and a real boon for my target shooting. Highly recommend.
Nicely done set of grips. The slimmer profile is much better than the factory grips. Was just able to get them on the frame, thanks to the vagaries of the Blackhawk frame, this set might could have used a very slight bit of fit work but I was able to get them on alright after some fidgeting, and gentle screwdriver work to get them to slip in properly at the prawl near the top of the frame.
If you are looking for 1911 grip screws made 100% to the original spec, as designed by JMB and produced by Colt’s (and other USGI contract mfgs), these are the ones you seek. These have the original spec “wide slot” versus the unauthentic, narrow slot found on the grip screws by most other makers today. The quality is very high on these grip screws — they have superior hardness in the metal, and their slots are more resistant to stripping and deforming than even the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) ones on my vintage Colt 1911 pistols. Buy the 1911 grip screws by Eagle Grips™️ and you will be highly satisfied by their authentic dimensions and high-quality build and material quality.
I am really pleased with the look that I achieved with these grips. I bought them for my Kimber Custom II two tone 45 ACP. My friends think I really pimped out my gun, but it looks great. Fit was perfect. Grips have a depth to their look that is unmatched with other products.
Ridley Scott built a winner prop with Rick Deckerd's Steyr-Mannlicher/Charter Arms blaster and that cool amber grip. Purple is my fav color, and adding these grips to my own protection system makes my Kimber much more comfortable, and stunning to see. You will not regret your investment!
I have a Ruger GP100. I love this gun, and with that being said, the Hogue Grips that come on the gun are just plain ugly. These Classically styled Eagle Grips are exactly what I've been looking for. The Quality of Eagle Grips is most impressive to say the least. I have Eagle Grips on one of my Colt Pythons, and the Beauty and Quality of those Grips were my inspiration to purchase these Grips for my Ruger GP100. Thanks Eagle Grips for giving the consumer a great American made product. Sincerely, Bud Olesen
I ordered the Secret Service style grips for my S&W Highway Patrolman. They fit perfectly when received and look beautiful. I love the grip I now have on this pistol. Thank you for such good work and service.
I have purchased these grips for 4 Ruger’s. Like them so much going to order for two more Ruger’s. They are not only good looking they feel great as well. Took very little fitting per gun. I know you will not regret ordering these grips.
Had a set of smooth Ivory Gun Fighters on my 45LC Flattop. Like them but there where a little slick. Bought the checked to go on my Blackhawk and love them. Gives excellent control, as Eagle said, the checking is not too sharp just right for added control. These are low profile and great for smaller hands. The only minor issue was the right grip stood off about a 32 second from the frame. Pulled it off and found the frame post hole had not cleaned our. Used a small screw driver to clean it out and it fits prefect now. Hardly wroth mentioning but if yours doesn’t fit you might want to check this out.
I purchased several other sets of ivory and Pearl grips but NONE were even in the league with Eagle Grips. If you EVER hear someone say they have a Beautiful set of Pearl Grips, it's almost 100% chance they are from Eagle. I don't own stock or work for the company. I just have the most incredible set of Pearl grips you can get! Thank you Eagle!!
I recently bought a new 629 with factory wood grips but they are too narrow at the top and they hurt when shooting hot loads. The Eagle Grips fit the frame perfectly and are wide enough to be comfortable while also taming hard recoil. They're a big improvement over the stock S&W grips. There is a narrow gap between the grip front and back of the trigger guard that is not present on my S&W 686 Eagle Grips but it has not caused any problems or discomfort. I love these grips!
grips look and fit well, just a minor flaw it that the grips are slightly proud above the backstrap. a big improvement over the plastic factory however. the wood was brownish rather than redish, but still has nice grain. they are thin, and thus do not have a substantial feel to them, but that is mostly because the pistol is small and any wood grip would have similar dimensions.
I absolutely love the look and feel of the American Elk Grips. I have the Tiffany Blue Sig Sauer P238 with stock pearl grips. The pearl grips were too dressy for me, I wanted to add the Elk Grips for a more unique look of the gun. I receive numerous compliments often and the look and uniqueness is exactly what I was after. They are easy to install, fit perfect and most importantly, very comfortable when shooting.
Awhile back I ordered these grips for my SW 686P 3". Great finish and fit was nice. I used a White Hat IWB and it disappears. Eagle Grips should partner with Ruger, SW and Kimber to make these an OEM option.
This is my second set of Kirinite grips, first set was for my Micro 9, this was for my new Kimber 45. They fit and look awesome. I wanted to trick out my gun to make it look different from the stock gun. I recently had a range day with friends at a family outdoor range. Everyone else had stipled grips, but I shot as well as any of my friends, so the smooth grip didn't adversely affect my shooting to any measure able degree.
Like others have said, the little bit more of circumference makes such a difference. The stock grips are nice but very hard to get a good grip with, they are too smooth for me. These are checkered for a really good purchase. I highly recommend these grips. The look really good on my Blackhawk Stainless.
After waiting many years to finally purchase my "dream gun", I was left a bit unsatisfied because it came with the original factory rubber grips. Since my dream was to have a Python with traditional wooden grips, I began my quest to replace the original rubber grips with much research and high expectations. My dream was finally fulfilled by Eagle Grips. I purchased their 3rd generation Colt Python grips with reclaimed medallions. The delivery was shorter than claimed on the web site and the quality was "second to none". I would recommend these grips and this company for those who have high expectations regarding service and product quality. Thank you Eagle Grips!
Used to run the Kim Ahrends boot grips. These are just as well fabricated and durable and weld to the hand the same. Love the way they look on my 327 NightGuard and will definitely be looking at these grips for other concealed carries in the future!
I bought a pair of checkered Rosewood Secret Service grips for my Gemini Customs Ruger SP101 . They were the perfect finishing touch to the ultimate Snubby. They. It only look incredible but make carrying and shooting this exquisite revolver a breeze.
I bought these grips to check out the difference between the Gunfighter grips and the Gunfighter II grips. These are well-made rosewood grips that shooters with large hands will find more apropos than the standard Gunfighter grips. However, they still feel better than the grips that were furnished on the old model Vaqueros and Blackhawks.
I bought two pairs of stag grips for my Colt SAA many years ago from Eagle Grips for $70.00 each! I was charged $35 to custom fit them. The fitting was perfect, and I would definitely consider buying from them again.
These grips fit my frame perfectly. The look like real Ivory even down to the grain. I have several of these grips for my N frames and Ruger vaquero and the all fit the frames with no over lap or under cutting.
Iwas impressed with the quality and fit. Somehow I couldn't find my original grips for my 30 year old model 19. Although these grips were discontinued before the model 19 was developed, I like the way they looked. Because of the hand filling configuration they make the recoil of the .357 magnum recoil as manageable as the rubber grips I replaced.
I was a bit disappointed at first because one of the grips did not fit perfectly, but it was an easy fix when i took it to a gunsmith. These are the best looking wood grips I've seen for Beretta 92; others that have the medallion dont have the thumbrest carved out of the wood like this one.
Outstanding product and the fit to firearm was great...couldn't ask for a nicer set of grips. The only problem I had was the stated delivery was not as indicated and email communications with the seller was in a word, "lacking". If you want a first class product and don't mind the absence of email or phone communications after you place the order, then you are in the right place. From my experience, this indicates a company that has a overly full backlog of orders and not enough customer service time to handle the load. Good luck.
The fit and finish of these grips is excellent. They feel like a natural part of the gun. I love that they give you more gripping surface and do not extend past the bottom of the grip frame. The finger grooves are all done. These are great grips. I will certainly buy another set of grips from Eagle Grips again. Thanks!
This product is very nice. Kirinite is very easy to work with. Cuts nice with both handheld and CNC tooling. imperfections caused during handling or modification is rare but easily polished out with detail work. Very durable and has a beautiful look when done.
These are the grips I should have ordered in the first place. The checkering is crisp, providing a secure gripping area for the revolver, and the contour is exactly right to achieve the natural grip that the late Joe Bowman envisioned. Well worth the money!!!! Thanks for taking care of this so well, Nate!
I love these grips on my S&W Mod. 65, 3" barrel. They fit so very well and very easy to handle, and they look great. I have a set of Secret Service Checkered grips for my J-frame, and am very happy with them too. Also, I do Cowboy Action Shooting and have Rosewood "Evil Roy" grips for both pairs of my Ruger New Vaqueros. Can't beat them! Wonderful products and service.
The Deep Blue Pearl grips look sleek on my Ruger SR1911, and they offer a solid grip during firing. The grips fit perfectly, lining up very nicely with the factory holes. I reused the Ruger hex screws. Thumbs up!
I bought two sets of Eagle S&W Square butt grips for my Model 27 and Model 29 four inch Blue Classics. One in Imitation Ivory and One in Elk Stag. The Elk is on the 44 Magnum and it is the Classic Outdoors Man Sidearm.
I love my Blackhawk but the stock grips were too slim and smooth for me I couldn't get a good grip on the revolver and felt like it was going to fly out of my hand. I bought these grips and what a difference they have made. I have a really good grasp on the grip now just love how the Blackhawk fits my hand. The Gunfighter II grips look gorgeous against the Stainless Steel frame also.
These grips are very comfortable - they allow the gun to come to point more naturally. The finish on the wood is excellent. Where the grip meets the grip frame was not exactly precise, but very close. Still an excellent grip.
Looked around for something to replace the stock burled maple grips that came with my Sig STX. After putting these on I couldn't be happier. Looks great, and has a pretty good tacky grip on the hand. I used the ambi safety with mag well and it fits 99% perfect. I needed to file off just a little bit where the slide release resets, but other than that, zero gripes. Would recommend.
Customer service was a little shaky after a while I had to email and asked when it would be shipped and then it was shipped the next day but the product fits great, looks great, and was easy to put on. I would definitely recommend
Gorgeous, beautiful, just like the picture. Fits perfectly, looks fabulous, done perfectly. I would like to thank the people of Eaglegrip for their help, understanding and human approach to the client and the problem. Thanks to them, my revolver looks great. Thanks a lot.
Bought because the late Stephen A. Camp used them on one of his pistols. Excellent hardware used in these grips. I like the fact the grip went behind the trigger guard. Would not hesitate to buy again.
i just opened the box with my pair of six shooters in it received one day earlier than promised and the grips are beautiful and sure make the guns pop.these gunfighter white pearl are more than i expected and what i had hoped they would be.thanks to raj and all who made these grips fit and finish are art can't put guns down have to type one handed.you have big kid happy happy feels like chrisrmas thank you thank you when i get my act together i will be back for a set of red pearl grips
These are the best grips that I have tried on my S&W 642 Pro. The grips feel good in the hand and provide excellent grip and control, even with +P loads. I am going to order another pair for my round-butt K Frame S&W. Thanks for an excellent product.
First thing about me - any revolver I have, gets wood grips, not rubber. The Secret Service grip from Eagle has been my preferred grip for the S&W snubbie for years. This is my every day carry, in a pocket holster. When I got a Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special, it became another option for pocket carry, once I installed a spur-less hammer. However, the grips available were not to my liking, after trying several. Then one day I discovered that Eagle Grips was making the Secret Service Grip for the Bulldog, and immediately put in my order. I know these grips are pricey, but they are both functional and elegant, in my view. Actually, pricey is having 5 sets of grips, in a box, that I don't use because they didn't work for me.
Makes my revolver fit in my hand like a glove. The factory grips give no purchase, these grips will change all of that. Accuracy has improved due to a better grip. The wood is beautiful and checkering crisp. It was well worth the wait and price to get these grips.
I finally had the chance to install the set of checkered rosewood grips I recently purchased on my .380 PPK. Wow, what a difference between these and the factory plastic grips! These grips are beautifully made. The rosewood has great figure and really dresses up the already rakish looks of the PPK. The sharply checkered panels and thumb rest of these grips provide a much more secure purchase for my large hands on such a small pistol. While recoil with Hornady 90 gr. XTP loads in a PPK is rather snappy, the Eagle grips really help you maintain a correct, yet firm grip on the gun. Range time was much more productive and I'm now able to get 5 rounds into a 4" group at 10 yards easily. For my primary defensive handgun, that will get the job done! Well done Eagle and thank you for making and outstanding product!
I've been using Eagle Grips on my hand guns throughout my entire law enforcement career dating back to the eighties and the addition of these Kirinite grips on my Ruger Birds Head revolver just reinforce the fact the Eagle Grips continues to make a great product with perfect fit and finish on every gun I chose to use them on. Keep uptake good work!!!
I found the grips to of great wood being checkered rosewood. They fit the grip well but not to the point where forward shifting upwards was totally eliminated. Fair to say with Ruger grips it does seem no two are the same, so grips pay the price.
These ivory Kirinite grips may be expensive, but they are by far the most realistic simulation of Ivory that I have ever seen; and the fit and finish are superb. (PS: I have seen 100% legitimate young ivory grips that, unless you look very close, look like white plastic, so I am quite pleased that these Kirinite grips DO look more Ivory than some of the young Ivory out there. And besides, real Ivory is now pretty much unobtainium anyway.) Another plus is that these grips fill my hand MUCH better than the stock wood Ruger Redhawk grips, which were too small for me.
Thank you so much for bringing my gun to life. Pictures just don't do this justice. It kinda looks a little subdued in the picture but the nice gentleman I talked to on the phone assured me it would look better in person and he was right.
I have a 460 Roland conversion kit for my 1911, which produces sharp recoil that caused my older poly grips to shatter. I put five magazines worth of 460 Roland through my gun, and these Kirinite grips held up well.
The profile is very close to Smith & Wesson's old square butt target grips. Mine even came with diamonds in the middle of the knurling. Fit is as good as can be expected without sending in your piece for custom fitting. They look amazing, and feel better in the hand on my 4" Redhawk .44 Magnum than any other grips it's worn.
They looked exactly as advertised. I used mine on my two tone 1911 so the grips tied it together perfectly. Only issue was there was very slight wiggle room after installation. But I made four washers with gardening wire, at practically no time nor cost, and they are now as snug as they are interesting. Worth the money overall.
Was slightly skeptical about how these grips would perform, but I knew I liked the way they look! After about a hundred rounds through my Vaquero the grips have shown to be forgiving to recoil and not slip under sweaty palms...
I have never found any aftermarket combat grip that was a comfortable, and appealing to the eye as the Eagle grip products. At the time I ordered the Rosewood was on back order, but they are worth the wait. 5 stars *****
The Gunfighter II was just what I needed for my 3 Ruger Vaqueros. I have large hands and the stock grips did not cut it. They were lost in my hands. The Gunfighter II looks great and fills my hand increasing accuracy. Fits the revolver well.
First off I love these grips. They are perfectly matched to the Birdshead grip of my New Vaquero. I was amazed how well they fit and how solid they felt. Two thumbs high! I recommend these grips to anyone who owns the Vaquero (New or Old). Don’t miss out on these grips.
These are great grips with outstanding fit and finish. On my old .22 Peacemaker, they look and feel much better than the original plastic eagle grips. They've turned a nice gun that passed down from my grandfather into a an even nicer gun that I'll love to pass on down to my grandkids!
I have 2 sets for S&W K/L and N frames. They fit my hands exceptionally well. They are thick at the top which is exactly what I need. The overall fit and finish is very good and you can send them back for adjustments if necessary. Overall a very good product.
Excellent craftsmanship - the grips fit perfectly. I prefer smooth (as opposed to textured) for ease of moving the gun into and out of a close holster. They are shipped natural; tongue oil makes a great protective finish. Thanks!
These grips fit perfectly. They are well finished and feel good in your hand. They are thinner than the original grips and fit my hand much better. Would buy again and this grip is the third set I bought from Eagle and the quality, fit and finish was correct in every case.
The quality is worth waiting for. These reflex point right on target. The checkered grip gives it more beauty and will bite in for a hold even wet. Going to order some more for gifts. Thanks Eagle for a job well done.
I bought this product to accent a revolver that belonged to my late father. I intend to put it in a display case. I feel your product looks and feels great and will look good on my father's revolver in this display.
I swapped these for the functional, but ugly, black neoprene. The look is fantastic and they fit well also. I don't shoot the Anaconda often, and the rounds are not full power, so I don't miss the neoprene grips at all.I have a similar set on a Python. Highly recommend.
I ordered Eagle Woodsman 3G grips for my Colt Woodsman Match Target pre-owned .22. When I contacted Eagle Grips, the customer service folks were most kind and sincere. The grips I received were outstanding. The fit is perfect and feel exactly like the original Colt grips. If you need new grips for your firearm, get some from Eagle.
These grips are everything that is advertised plus 1000! I wish i would of have these put on a sp 101 i had. Big time concealment made a huge difference. I carry appendix and it rides right on waistline instead of higher like it was. Really gives the gun a nice clean finish
I bought elk Grips to go on a customized Colt Officer a gun I carry every day for work. These grips are beautiful and I get a lot of comments about them. My only issue is I have smaller hands and did not realize how thick these grips are. beside that I've carried this gun with the grips for over 6 months and have no complaints.
I purchased these grips and I must say right out of the box I loved them.I mean the craftsmanship, quility, and the texture of the grips felt so right.Eagle grips are well made and they fit my Ruger Lcr 38 special perfect. The rosewood with the cheered center is awesome and they feel good when I am gripping them. I love the product ,and I stand by their product 100% I would purchase again and I recommend anyone who is looking for a new style grip, go eagle grip.
I found that my new grips are well made, beautiful and really improve my grip on the gun. The only thing that is not great, is the fact that a speed loader doesn't clear it. That said, I really enjoy the new look and would buy them again.
These grips are very comfortable and way great quality. Like the open back strap design as it helps reach trigger better. Had to file some in an area covered by the stock grips that charter didn't deem necessary to finish well. Now I have a unique Bulldog that's comfortable too.
