These replace the rubber grip with no issues at all. They instantly change the look from a Yugo to a Cadillac. There is no gap at the back of the frame. Don't believe any trolls these are high quality. Personally I think my LCR shoots better than the with the rubber grips. Just keep in mind your wait will be more like 12 weeks than 2-6 weeks. Should you wait? ABSOLUTLEY ...YES!
Ordered the secret service rosewood for my sw60 nodash..they arrived and fit really nice. Fit and finish was nice and smooth I like em. They remind me of old solid wood furniture..quality I'd reccomend eagle above others..
I am very pleased with the grips I received. My Woodsman has been in my family for 5 generations. It is a favorite of my children and gets regular use. The beautiful Eagle grips allow me to preserve the originals while making the pistol look even more handsome at the same time.
I really liked these grips and they are on one of my monthly competition guns for Cowboy Action Shooting. I did have to work on them to get the fit, but there are several warnings that this is the case. If you aren't comfortable with that, there are other options available. Great price for a great product, I would, and probably will, but again.
Bought two sets of these grips for two old revolvers, one a "Bridgeport" and the other a "Stratford." Both fit well. Grips are more comfortable than the factory ones and are more conducive to double action shooting. It also places the hand on the gun in a better position to control recoil more comfortably. The only downside is, like the original grips, these do not work well with speedloaders being slightly too thick for clearance due to this revolver's short cylinder crane. Otherwise, a fine update for two old revolvers.
I ordered a set of kirinite grips for my Smith and Wesson model 724. Fit was excellent. They have the look and feel of real ivory. They were well worth the cost and the wait. I will certainly order more. I wish Eagle made a set of service style python grips from kirinite, I would love to put them on my 3” Python.
I replaced my Pachmayr grips that had been on my Redhawk for 35 years. Wow, what a difference in comfort and looks. Very easy to install and perfect fit. They're so comfortable that actually it feels like they reduced recoil. Yes, they're pricey, but you won't regret it.
Very high quality product, made with great care starting from quality raw materials. Absolutely the best suit for my 1968 Python. I recommend them to all shooters and collectors looking for the best for their firearm. The company's support service is excellent and has allowed me to purchase this product even from overseas.
The fit of these grips is really very good and the grain in rosewood is very attractive. This is my second J frame grip order (first was the J frame Secret Service grip)and I have been very satisfied with both.
First set didn't fit the frame as well as I thought it should, pattern and color didn't match on the two grip halves. Eagle grips was good about sending out a new set that look and feel great and fit the frame. Would recommend.
I received exactly what I expected and was pleased with the product. I would have preferred if the spacer (one piece grips) were made of the same material vs. wood but it worked out well. Also, I do feel that the price is a bit steep for synthetics that I fit myself. Overall, certainly satisfied.
my Vaquero came with the usual black plastic grips, they were Ok but I wanted a more traditional look, I chose the Eagle rosewood grips and glad I did, perfect fit, comfortable and I love the old west look, just like the picture, thank you Egle Grips.
This grip make the Ruger Bisley Blackhawk .44 special perfect for my hand. I am able to grip and control the trigger pull perfectly. The appearance of the grips is very nice. The colors are rich and pleasing. The perfect gripping surface for my Ruger.
These grips are built to last. What you pay for these is worth every cent. The craftsmanship is superb. I would buy these again in a second. Fits my N frame perfectly. There are other grips out there for half the price or have no wait time but you can easily tell the difference. My Eagle grips outshine the others by far. Buy these grips!
I have a bin full of holsters and a box full of grips. They all usually get swapped back and forth because every one has an advantage, but none is “perfect”.These grips ARE perfect. These are my third pair of grips for my K-frame Model 17. This pair fit my hand and fits the gun. These are staying on the gun and the other two pair will rotate to the bottom of the box.Bonus: Fit, finish, and build quality are superb. About the level one would expect from a master gunsmith 100 years ago.I am going to buy more Eagle grips…
These grips are beautiful. The first set that was sent to me had screw holes that were milled too small for the proper grip screw. Eagle grips made it right by sending me a return label and remilling the grip screw holes to the proper size. Now they fit perfectly and look perfect as well. Would definitely buy again.
I initially bought these grips thinking I could do the shaping and installation myself. When I saw the quality of the grips I realized I could never do them justice. I sent them back to Eagle Grips for custom installation. Smooth, perfect, and remarkably beautiful
I have a six shot 22mag pathfinder and I decided that the standered 3 finger rubber grips should go. I also didn't want a thin bootgrip. This strikes a nice balance! Not only does it sharpen up your guns looks and make it more concealable but it also grips great! Don't worry about losing the pinky because the thumb shelf makes up for it! Only "downside" is it's a little more slippery so I gotta practice my draw some more. Highly recommend!
After having two pearl Bauer grips crack, I was told that these would fit mu handgun. They were not only a perfect fit, it's doubtful that they will crack because they are solid Kirinite, versus the Bauer grips which are two layers of materials. These are far superior.
I was skeptical, I am always hesitant when buying a new product. I got them, they installed easily and I really like them. They are extremely low profile. Their really comfortable in the hand, their also comfortable in the waste band. Next time I order grips for a firearm I will come here first.
I searched all over the internet looking for high quality grips and found nothing worthy of my grandfather's old Colt 1917. I finally stumbled upon the Eagle Grips website and man I'm glad I did. The service over the phone was excellent. I emailed them some pics of the Colt to make sure that I was getting the correct grips and they were more than helpful. The grips arrived after a short while and they are absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend Eagle Grips to anyone interested. Well done.
These grips fit my . 45lc stainless Vaquero like a glove. It looks better than ever. The checkering is nice and deep, and the hardware well recessed to give a very pleasant grip feel. They have a slimmer profile than stock, and it's an improvement, especially for some one handed cowboy stuff. All in all, I'm more than satisfied with these. They made my favorite gun even more special. 5 damn stars.
Amazing fit and finish!! Excellent quality. I received them very quick. I was expecting to be waiting a few more weeks. The Arctic blue really pops! I might have to try another set in a different color
Not only is the Browning Hi-Power a great piece of history, it's a very good looking one. Want to make it look even better? Get these grips. The finish is amazing, the fit is beyond perfect. They are thick, solid, and of superior quality compared to anything else I've ever used. 20/10, I will definitely be purchasing another set down the road. I can't say enough good things about these.
After more than a year of using these grips on my every day carry gun, they have survived two motorcycle wrecks with only minor damage. I love the ergonomic contouring and the grippy texturing. Overall I love these grips but even though I have 3 Ruger Vaqueros, I only have one set of gunfighter grips because of how expensive they are. That being said, you certainly get what you pay for. These are solid grips.
The grips were very impressive. They fit my S & W Model 36 very well and the grain in the Rosewood was extremely attractive. I am very satisfied with the quality of these J frame square butt Target grips.
Had to do a little sanding to make them meet right, and drill out the hole for the pin to fit, but that just adds character to my gun, making it unique. Gorgeous grips, personalized. My wife rolls her eyes, but I think she's thinking about getting some new grips too. Will buy from Eagle Grips again.
These are great grips, but they do not allow for the use of speed loaders. I contacted them and they responded immediately offering the opportunity to send the grips back to make an adjustment. You will be pleased at the quality of these grips, but if this is your CCW, just know HKS or Safariland speed loaders will not work with them.
I searched the net for grips and I wasn't sure as to what they would look like in person, but when they arrived it was obvious that I could have paid couple of hundred dollars more and those grips would not stand up to these!
Received my new grips this afternoon. They fit perfectly and look fantastic. It was a pleasure dealing with Nate on the phone. He took care of different delivery options based on suspected production dates. Everything worked out perfectly and I got my grips much sooner than expected. Thanks, Tim.
I am very pleased with how tgese grips turned out. I ordered the checkered finish and the grips look true to the original on my Interarms Walther PPK/S. The grips included a new screw and recessed nut. The handgun has a nice feel to it, and I can maintain a firm grip. I am considering purchasing more grips from this company for some of my Smith and Wesson revolvers. I wish that I could upload a picture!
If you’re looking for some quality wooden grips for your Charter Arms Undercover, look no further. These are great quality at a good price. These grips are shorter than the stock grips making the firearm more compact and easier for concealed carry. They are made of sturdy solid wood that fit perfectly around the frame. They are shaped nicely with an indention at the top that allows your thumb to grip the handle better. The product takes a few weeks to receive but they are worth the wait!
Besides the minor shipping issues I dealt with, which was the post offices fault not Eagle grips. They got here quick and the feel and quality of these grips are just amazing. Definitely purchasing more in the future
I have a 1962 Colt Scout with the factory grips and was looking for an upgrade. I spoke to my brother in law and he has purchased many grips from you all over the years and was not hesitant to order grips based on his great dealings with you all.
My grips arrived after 6 weeks. They were of excellent quality but did not fit the grip frame properly. The representative had me take photos and then proceeded to have his coworkers bring in their Model N revolvers to test the fit. Modifications were made and the grips were reshipped back to me. The improvement was definite, but not perfect. Small wonder since I was not allowed to ship my pistol to them for hand-fitting as I had twice before. Given the restrictions of the pandemic, I believe the customer service and overall quality of Eagle Grips are unparelled.
I purchased these for an S&W Model 629 Classic round butt that came with the rubber grips. My older Smiths have Goncalo Alves grips in the large size. They are square butt pistols. I wanted the same look and feel for this 629. After researching I discovered Eagle Grips. These Walnut Heritage Grips are perfect. They fill the hand and point well. They look fantastic. Thank you Eagle Grips. I will be purchasing grips for a Colt SAA, a Colt 1911, and a Ruger Old Vaquero next. Going to try out the stag grips on the SAA.
Pretty good quality although the front of the grip panels are slightly misaligned. Nothing serious though. I did compare these grips to pics off the internet of S&W "Coke Bottle" grips and these differ in the placement of the medallion, the size and shape of the checkered area and the overall length of the panel. To anyone 20 or so feet away it would be noticeable.
Great workmanship and nice size. The stock target halves are too big and blocky for my liking. These heritage grips preserve the classic look but improve handling and shooting considerably. repeat customer
I like the look and feel of the new grips. They seem to have improved the balance of the SA revolver, which always felt a tad heavy in the barrel. Although there were some vendors who sold less expensive grips I went with EagleGrips because I wanted to make sure I got the right ones. As things turned out, I think I made the right decision. My only quibble is that the right grip needed a little carving with a penknife, to align the hole with the peg. It only took a few scrapes. If this happens to you, go slow and keep rechecking. The whole process took about thity seconds. The grips are about as substantial as they could be, quality hardwood. I wish I was more articulate in praising them.
My customer wanted a set of grips so we chose a set of Eagle 1 piece. They came well packaged and protected. The filler was different than the outer panels but you won’t see it when finished. There was plenty of wood to work with. They should fit pretty much every frame out there for the standard model which is what we had. I called to ask about the finish and my call was promptly answered. This is so far Eagles only product that I have used but wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. I would definitely recommend this product. Dean, IVG
I decided to purchase these grips for my cowboy mounted shooting competition pistols. I was NOT disappointed! The quality was top-notch and the color was eye-popping even with the etching. Every place I’ve been, I have received compliments on them. These grips changed my competition game for the better and have improved my draw, grip, and accuracy ten fold. I would highly recommend them whether you are competing like me, or just want something to add a little flash to your gun collection.
I purchased these grips several months ago for my MK4 Competition. I could not be happier with them. The wood is beautiful and the checkering is perfect. There are NO flat points! The profile is not much different if at all from the stock grips but the esthetics could not be more stark. All my shooting buddies have commented on how good they look! Pricy but you will not be disappointed!
My Colt Woodsman passed to me by my father was in need of upgrade. The plastic grips had bowed. The beautiful eagle wood grips made it look new again. This pistol is lightly used and will be passed on to my son. Great product! Feels great in my hand. Fit perfectly.
I bought this grip for my husband for Christmas 2020, whom was passed down the pistol from a late relative. The past grip was rubber and was swelled up and half falling off. When we put the new grip on, we were blown away! It looks amazing, and it has the best feel in your hand you could ever want! Though it's a little pricey, you are getting amazing quality, I filling recommended this company and will be returning with any further needs in the future! Also a side note, it was getting close to Christmas and i called them to see if i would have it in time. They answered the phone and were super personable. Yes, they had it to me before Christmas with a few days to spare!
I bought a new 686 stainless steel 357 pistol with rubber handgrips. I then bough a set of checked rose wood grips and then installed them. What a difference in looks. Made one hell of a difference !!!!
Got my grips today. I was sent the wrong ones by accident but they told me to send them back, and they would make it right. They sent me a new perfect set of beautiful classics colt grips and a set of 4 stainless screws for free, at my request. They honored their word to their customers and did everything the said they would. I would gladly buy from Eagle Grips again!
It's not often I find a product that exceeds expectations but I have to say the Blue Kirinite Grips I received from Eagle Grips more than surpassed any expectation I had in regard to the grips. You simply have to see and hold the grips to truly appreciate their craftsmanship and beauty. Every detail was perfect. I put the grips on a blue MK IV. It is now stunning. It should be noted that I have a MK IV 22/45 LIte with a metal frame. These grips fit the metal frame perfectly but they will not fit the 22/45s with the plastic frame. The grips have several detail areas where they have to clear the safety, mag release, and slide release. All of these details were perfectly executed and fit the gun perfectly. I compete with this gun and I like that these grips help to set it apart from other guns, it is unique and the grips accentuate that and I find that I enjoy my sport a little more. If I was a gun manufacturer, I would provide these grips on my product simply because of the value they add.Thank you Eagle Grips!
Beautiful grips! Fit snug. Feels great in the hand. The pattern I chose closely resembles the o.g. grips on my S&W N frame classic. Just overall looks and feels like a high quality grip. Better than original.
I put these on my 3" 629 revolver and man you can really grip it now. I have large hands and can hold this sucker way more securely than the rounder stock grips when firing off full magnum loads. It conceals amazingly and looks freakin awesome too! Im serious when I say get these.
I have received both Pearl and Ivory grips for Baby Brownings. They are so finely hand finished and beautiful. They make the guns look like jewelry. I spoke with Raj himself before they were shipped and I can tell you Raj and his company focus on quality and client satisfaction. Thanks, Raj!
I have used Eagle Gunfighter grips on my new model Vaqueros for several years and like them a lot. Recently, I purchased 2 pairs of Ruger .32 Single Sixes. One set was early production and I had questions about the frame size. One of Eagle's employees was very helpful in helping determine what size grips I needed for this particular set of revolvers, even to the extent of having me email pictures of the frames to help ensure that I ordered the correct size. Upon receiving the grips, I found that the wood was attractive and nicely checkered. All the grips I received fit my revolvers well. I would order from Eagle again.
I bought these grips to help spread the recoil load on my Model 29. They fit perfectly and did exactly what I wanted. Even big loads are a joy to shoot with these grips. They look great, too - the checkering is beautiful.
Bought these grips for my 1965 Ruger Super Single Six. Excellent quality they fit perfect and look great. Customer service was on point, the owner of the company personally called me to verify my order and specifications. The kind of service you just don't find these days. highly recommended
These are great looking grips that arrived same as the photos. Very comfortable to my hand and definitely help recoil. Some light sanding needed for final fit to the pistol, but they are rock solid and no looseness in the fit.
It took 3 months to receive the product. I contacted the company several times via e-mail over those three months and received no explanation for the delay. I was about to cancel payment through my bank when I received the product. The grips are very well made and beautiful. They fit the weapon perfectly. I am very happy with the grips, but not the service.
Purchased four Eagle Gunfighter grips, two White Pearl for my wife and two Aqua Marine for my 12 year old daughter for Christmas. They absolutely love them! My only complaint is that they are a little loose/sloppy fitting, but they look and perform beautifully once tightened up. My wife shot her fastest times ever since she started Cowboy Action Shooting approximately 10 years ago. In fact, she just shot her first 2-day clean match with zero misses. Would have been a solid 5 star rating if they fit a little better...
These grips were worth the wait and absolutely beautiful. They appear as though like they would have a very slippy feel to them, however this is not the case at all. They fit the gun perfectly! Looks amazing on a 4in model 629
Bought these after taking out a second mortgage, seemed expensive but eagle is a good name brand, i couldnt be happier, way nicer than i imagined and much better than the photo, you cant go wrong with these
Thanks Eagle Grips. I purchased the black pearl grips with black medallion for my Super Blackhawk Dragoon style frame (1965) and they fit perfect and look awesome. The original wood grips were chipped and these look so much better than the originals. Well worth the wait.
Bought these for my wife for Christmas. First the bad: they don't fit as good as I thought they would, a little sloppy/loose fitting, but once I pushed them up against the frame and tightened them they seem to stay in place without shifting. The good: they look great and my wife loves them. She just shot her first clean 2-day 12 stage match clean with the fastest times of her life and clean! She was so happy, I yes they were worth the price.
Picked up a set of these for an early 1980's Charter Arms Pug. Added nicely to concealability and I've begun carrying the .44 Special deep carry in a front pant pocket - which I could not do comfortably with the factory grips. Who would have guessed! Wood is super nice. Fit, finish, and hardware all top quality. Would not hesitate to recommend.
The grips work well. There is no slippage and the checkering is aggressive. I would guess that no slippage would occur even if you used these in pouring rain or if your hand were bloody -- and any such slippage would be far less than with the original smooth grips. These are certainly a niche item, for someone who specifically needs them for a set purpose. Mine is simple. This is my always-works gun. Few moving parts, no automatic anything, and I put serious money into the holster, belt, and grips because I intend for it to work no matter what. If that's what you need, these are your grips.
First off, I want to start by saying I had to wait two months to get my grip. However I can now see why it took so long, when I replaced my old grip with this I was blown away. I have a Sig Saur 10mm 1911. The stock grip looks fine and feels ok, but when I replaced it with this grip. The whole look of the gun changed in an excellent way. On top of that it felt incredible, I felt like the gun was stuck to my hand, best feeling grip I have felt. If I could upload a picture I would. I would Highly recommend eagle grips to any one I know and will be coming back for anymore of my needs.
The Eagle Grips for my grandfathers WWI Model 1917, Colt .45 are outstanding. They are comfortable and look good. Well done and thanks. Now I need new grips for my Smith and Wesson Model 1891 Lemon Squeeze. Great products. VR Bede A Bolin
I love my grips! It’s been a game changer for myself and my husband along with friends that shoot with us. I’m a girl so like to match my husband is a sniper so he has a a another object, we both agree, these eagle grips are on a whole another level... just saying
I've been playing with Magna, Combat, Target, and most recently VZ grips. The Secret Service grips feel better and align in the hand even better than the VZ, conceal better than all above, and are as attractive as the Target stocks. There is no other grip I'd rather have my hand around. I even picked up a set for my 340 J frame, awesome!
I received an absolutely beautiful pair of walnut Heritage Eagle Grips for my new S&W Model 29-10 revolver. They were a perfect fit, and very comfortable in the hand. The walnut is of good quality, with even coloring and a nice grain. The checkering cuts are crisp. These are a must have upgrade to replace the slim new-production factory grips being put on the N frames these days.
