  I purchased a 3" S&W 686 and found the included wood grips to be bulky and uncomfortable. As such I purchased these Eagle grips in the hopes that they'd make my gun more comfortable to shoot and concealable. They have far exceeded my expectations. My gun feels more balanced and controllable even with very hot loads, is more concealable, and looks fantastic with these grips. I would recommend anyone who gets a S&W 686 for carrying to purchase these grips.

  I purchased these for a Colt clone. They were oversize for proper fitting and they looked good. There is grain that looks real although the grain is not easy to see. They finished well and feel good. I like them over any others I have tried.

  The fit and finish of the grip is outstanding .The smooth finish of the wood will definitely help to prevent clothing from hanging up on the grip if you are using the gun for carry purposes . You will need to practice with your draw because the feel from rubber to polished wood is like night and day you must get used to fact the gun will move around more in your hand . I would definitely buy Eagle Grips again .The trade off for concealment factor is well worth the extra practice

  1911 Genuine American Elk Grips

  This is the 5th set of grips I have ordered. At least 2 maybe 3 have been from you , and they are by far the best. My only complaint is the bottom screw hole on the left side is not counter sunk a smallest of a fraction to shallow. This allows the screw to loosen and fall out when being fired. An easy fix for me, but still, a very nice product.

  Used these to replace the Ruger medalian grips on the baby vaquero. I thought they were too bulky and ruined the aesthetics of the handsome little pistol. These grips are much slimmer and complement the lines of the gun. the color is nice and creamy. The checkering is nice because the gunfighter grips don't fill the hand as much as the smooth factory grips did.

  Purchased the grips for a 1911a1. They look and feel great. The diamonds are a little big but give the weapon a nice look. The rosewood makes them look like aged walnut. One of the lower diamonds is a little off center and canted. Otherwise nice work.

  No thicker or longer than the S&W Magna grips with a grip adapter. Finger grooves help to control recoil. Grip angle gives a natural aiming point for the sights. I got a pair for a Colt Diamondback and they were so good I bought a pair for the J-Frame. Might need a larger cut-out if you intend to use speedloaders.

  Long wait for these Beauties. Over two months. I suspect my order was overlooked for a short while. Customer service was very responsive when I emailed for an order update. Grips arrived not long after. Eagle has a good opportunity here for customer service order tracking and customer notification. I have a couple of 1911 grips from past orders, also beautiful, and great workmanship. This recent arrival of grips for my Browning Hi Power - model III, high gloss finish is fabulous, the original black mat grips were not only ugly, but slightly slippery, after a few mags fired, in my hands. Not so with the Rosewood grips, which were a very clean and perfect fit to the pistol. VERY complementary grips !!

  These are well made grips and fit the Mark V without any problems. The grip is pretty comfortable and I like the thumbrest. I am used to having a custom grip on another 22 so the fit is very different. I seem to be shooting bullseye fairly well so overall I am happy. The grips haven’t been on the gun for long so more practice is needed.

  The original grips on my pre-1966 Colt Police Positive were so small as to make an otherwise fine pistol unusable for me. Eagle was the only manufacturer I found that make larger grips to fit that model. These grips are well made, fit perfectly, and allow me to get a firm grasp on the revolver.   This pair took a little time to fit--15 minutes. A big exception among Ruger stainless framed Blackhawks is that the frame dimensions vary enough so that many grip makers refuse to guarantee a fit for the Blackhawk stainless guns. I will need to soften the bottom frame corners with a buffing wheel. The 2 sets of birdshead grips were perfect fit right out of the box. The beauty of these grips is beyond compare.   I ordered a set of these grips to replace the rubber grips that came on my gun. They fit my gun perfectly. The workmanship was perfect, very nice fit and finish. However, there was a problem. The grips were too large for my hand. I contacted Eagle Grips and spoke to a gentleman named Nate. After discussing the problem, Nate checked with the grip makers in the shop to see if they could be reduced to fit my hand. Nate got back to me within the hour and said send them back so we can slim them down. The grips came back from the factory and the grip maker had done a fantastic job of reducing the grips to fit my hand. You can't even tell the work had been done except they fit my hand as good as they fit the gun. Great grips and even better customer service. Well Done!

  Ruger Pre-1962 Flattop Original Blackhawk Genuine Rosewood Smooth Panel Grips

  This product is excellent, except for the fact that it is not offered in walnut (walnut is hard to get now and in some places, it may have become unobtainable - blame it on the Walnut Huskfly - related to the Mediterranean Fruitfly or Medfly). Anyway, the fit is extremely good and closer edge to edge (wood to metal) fitting is not necessary unless desired. I ended up NOT using it, however; the business that I work for had on consignment, two consecutively serial numbered Old Model Ruger Blackhawks ("Three-screw") that required the XR-3 grips. One grip and gripframe had been replaced with Super Blackhawk parts, the other left original with the prettiest burl walnut panels. This was done by the consignor's deceased father, and the son wanted to have the gun returned to original configuration before placing the pair in auction. I could have used the Eagle Grips product, but the guns would not have matched. I ended up finding one pair of original walnut grips somewhere online and stripping the stain that Ruger apparently used and re-varnishing the grips; the original wood of those grips had a closely matching burl grain to the other gun and so now they match well! The Eagle Grips product is absolutely excellent and I would recommend them for those who are in need of new grips for their old original three-screw XR-3 Blackhawks!

  Ruger Bisley Gunfighter Kirinite® Desert Camo Grips

  First I got the Desert Camo grips for my Ruger Bisley. Installed it on my left (#8) pistol. Fit was tight and perfect. I gotta do this for my right hand (#6) gun (R Vaquero has a lighter trigger spring and the sight has been "adsjusted" for distance pistol shooting). I called Eagle Grips and spoke to Roger. He advised he had a set of Ruger Bisley checkered grips in Bronze Goddess (not shown on website). I thought about it then said, "OK, send 'em". Worked out GREAT!! I am so pleased! The Bronze Goddess also installed tight and perfect. With both Rugers holstered, form any distance, the guns look like they have the same grips. But looking at them closely, I can easily discern the Desert Camo from the Bronze Goddess, my left from my right pistol. Ideal! The laser checkering prevents any movement of the pistol grips in my hands. That's the main reason for getting them, as recommended by Rusty Remmington, Non-Stop, and Eli Hawk. I can send photo of my 2 Rugers, if you'd like.

  Love my Eagle grips! Shot many rounds with my S&W 629 44MAG. Always comfortable and easy to control. They look damn good too

  Officer's 1911 - Kirinite® Emerald Bay Pistol Grips

  I bought these handgrips to offset the gun. My Kimber came with the normal Rosewood grips. I wanted something to make the gun pop. These grips were what I wanted. They are very well made and came polished so that there was not a scratch on them. They were easy to install and fit wonderfully.
