Old Charter Arms .38 Spl Undercovers
Bought two sets of these grips for two old revolvers, one a "Bridgeport" and the other a "Stratford." Both fit well. Grips are more comfortable than the factory ones and are more conducive to double action shooting. It also places the hand on the gun in a better position to control recoil more comfortably. The only downside is, like the original grips, these do not work well with speedloaders being slightly too thick for clearance due to this revolver's short cylinder crane. Otherwise, a fine update for two old revolvers.
Charter Arms Undercover .38 Special
I have been looking a long time for smaller grips like these and took the chance of the grips fitting my older model Charter Arms Undercover .38. (on one side of the barrel; Undercover .38 SPL. on the other Charter Arms Corp. Bridgeport, Conn.)
I'm glad I did, I am well pleased with the fit and finish.
These grips are very comfortable and way great quality. Like the open back strap design as it helps reach trigger better. Had to file some in an area covered by the stock grips that charter didn't deem necessary to finish well. Now I have a unique Bulldog that's comfortable too.
