They feel great and look amazing!
I recently got a brand new S&W model 10. I have always loved the model 10 because it was my father's duty weapon and the gun I learned to shoot with back in the early eighties. When I saw they were selling new ones again, I had to have one. Most of the ones you come across are surplus and have changed hands many times and are pretty rough. When the gun arrived, it was perfect... except the grips. They were authentic, but tiny. They ruined the look of the entire gun, like a lifted pickup with factory tires. Not to mention, I have big hands, so I started looking for replacement grips immediately. I had no idea that authentic looking wooden grips for S&W revolvers were rare and pretty much a 'made to order' item. I tried another brand first and was disappointed at the fit and quality of them. The price wasn't good either. Then I found Eagle Grips and liked what I saw. Ordering was easy. When I ordered, i was given an eta for order completion. I guess they are made to order. No big deal. You can get updates on your orders progress online. The arrival of the grips was actually before the eta given at time of purchase. They were well packed for damage free arrival and all hardware was included. I received exactly what I ordered. The quality was outstanding and obvious upon inspection. When installed, I couldn't stop staring at it. Absolutely beautiful. Fit and finish are top notch, and they feel as good as they look. These are no cheap knock offs. I can't imagine that the real deal back in the model 10's glory days could have been any better. I know I'm biased, but everyone who sees and handles the gun loves it too, so it's not just me. What a difference these grips made. Soon I will be ordering another set from you for my 686 and I would definitely recommend your grips to anyone, no matter what they shoot. Thanks for such a great product and for restoring my faith in online shopping.

357 stainless steel pistol
I bought a new 686 stainless steel 357 pistol with rubber handgrips. I then bough a set of checked rose wood grips and then installed them. What a difference in looks. Made one hell of a difference !!!!

Wow! The best grips I’ve gotten for any of my guns, hands down. A beautiful piece of dark rosewood used, the seams line up perfectly when put on and the finish is perfect as well. I used to like my 686, now I love it. I’m already looking forward to ordering the same type for my Python through Eagle Grips.

Just got my grips in for my Model 10.
They're beautiful.
They fit perfectly.
They're functional (I have no problem using my speed loaders.)
As I said elsewhere, on a scale from 1-10, I'm like a kid a Christmas.
Classic
Restoring a S&W Model with a new deep blue finish and added these grips for a classic 1950-1960s revolver. Always admired the S&W revolvers owned written about by Skeeter Skelton. These feel great and a real boon for my target shooting. Highly recommend.
A Must-have
I love my 686P, but was never a fan of the round butt. These beautiful grips make my pistol perfect. I'd recommend them -- and any other Eagle grips -- to all of my friends.

best quality wooden grips possible!
After I purchased my Smith & Wesson model 686 I had a hard time finding round to square butt conversion grips, the when I came across eagle grips I knew I had found a winner! Besides being durable and a perfect fit to the gun and the hand they are also extremely beautiful. They gave my gun a tough but incredibly classy look. And since installing them on My Revolver I have put thousands of rounds through it and the grips are still going strong and looking as good as ever. I have spent a lot of time researching different grips and companies and as far as I'm concerned Eagle grips are the best I have ever found. I have always been satisfied with their craftsmanship quality and the value of what I'm getting for what I'm paying. I would definitely recommend these grips to anyone searching for a quality wooden grip.

Classic and Timeless
I received these grips and couldn't be happier with the fit, finish, and feel of these H008 Heritage grips. It's like my gun was just waiting for these grips to come along.
The rosewood looks great on my 686 Pro and the pictures don't do justice to how beautiful these really are.
Highly recommended.
